On November 5, 2009, The Ryan Paul Whitaker Nursing Laboratories was dedicated in memory and recognition of Ryan's goal to attend Nursing School at LSC his love of education, and his strong desire to help and heal those in need. Despite his short life, Ryan's Legacy of Service will have a significant impact on nursing students who will study in these laboratories for years to come as well as the patients they serve.
