It All Began with a Mother's Mission
With a trip to the Smokey Mountains after the death of her only son, Ryan Paul Whitaker, God began a healing process. Seeing three giant crosses sprinkled across the Rocky Mountains, Paula Whitaker vowed to God that she would one day construct such a beautiful testimony to God's love in her hometown of Tomball, Texas.

Visit The Cross of Tomball
Many people have been drawn to the Cross of Tomball, one of several big crosses in Texas, to lay down addictions and hurts and have been lead to Jesus. When asked, “How did you find yourself here,” most replied, “I just went to The Cross.” With God’s help and the power of His Holy Spirit, it is Paula Whitaker’s prayer that many will be blessed and come to know the love of Jesus and that God’s love is BIG, much bigger than this giant Texas cross.
May this big cross in Houston, Texas be used to show that God's love is given freely because of our Savior’s Cross.
